Olivia is shocked when she sees herself in a strange videotape that she and her girlfriend rented from a video store, but when she sets out to discover the tape's origins, she finds more than she bargained for.

Written in fall 2022 as a passion project, and shot the following spring (planning beginning in February, with shooting in April) using Syracuse University resources. Originally titled Voleur, this film was meant to be provide fun and unique challenges in creating a horror atmosphere, adapting surrealist narrative elements, and shooting a doppelganger. Specifically, the script also demanded a prosthetic and complex shooting arrangements for the climax scene. I Saw Myself in the Screen is a film I'm proud of, and was a huge stepping stone that most taught me important lessons in preparation, creative problem solving, pacing scenes, and navigating a post-production workflow. While the schedule was incredibly tight, and some preparations failed in unexpected ways, the film has many special things about it, which I take great pride in.
